During the course of the last 2 months being a sponsor for the Hero Golf Tour has been truly enjoyable, we’ve made a lot of good connections & it’s great seeing familiar faces at every golf course weekly. We’ve not only made friendships and created a great networking community, but we’ve been able to really stay true to our mission in educating service members, vets, & supporters on the importance of maximizing on the VA Loan.

Along with providing one on one consultations tailor made to each individual we’ve met on the golf course interested in learning more about the VA loan, we’ve invited everyone to our monthly off base VA Seminars at Babgy Brewery and have had a great turn out these last two months following our presence on the course. If it’s not a vet or an active service member, the supporters at this Hero Golf Tour have also been a huge reason on why our seminars have been full by passing along the word to their family and friends who it applies to.

As a way to give back to our new friends, fellow service members & vets on the golf course, we have weekly raffles to give away 2 Padres tickets with parking & a $100 gas card in these tough times with sky high gas prices!

How Long Does the Process Take To Get Approved for a VA Home Loan?

How long should it take to get a pre-approval? We all have heard the stories of how difficult it is and how long it takes to get pre-approved with your VA loan. The truth of the matter is, it isn't.

It should be no more difficult than sending an online application, a few documents, and a verification of your credit standing. Of course, the process can vary based on your current financial situation and the complexity of your financing. If you have the right mortgage professional on your team, you should be able to complete a full pre-approval swiftly.

An active-duty service member should only need the following in order to become fully pre-approved:

- Online application (10 minutes)

- Most recent LES

- Last two years of W2's

- Most recent 2 months of bank statements

Once these are received the mortgage professional should be able to review your application, validate your info, and run the necessary systems to give you a full pre-approval. The whole process from start to finish should be able to be completed the same day if you are able to provide the necessary items.
